Slovan Wins, Trnava & Žilina Fall in Football Friendlies

The footballers of SK Slovan Bratislava played their first preparatory match for the spring part of the Nike League.

In the opening match, they beat the Slovak second division MFK Zvolen 4:0. The goals were scored by four different shooters.

Guram Kašia put Slovan in the lead in the 32nd minute, Kyriakos Savvidis made it 2-0 six minutes later.

In the second half, Marko Tolič first increased the score to 3:0, and Nino Marcelli added the final fourth goal.

However, Spartak Trnava did not succeed, as they led the Polish team Korona Kielce 1:0 after the first half, but conceded three times in the second.

Even MŠK Žilina did not look up to the Polish team, losing to Lech Poznan 1:2.
