Simeone Apologizes to Florentino & Vinicius After Super Cup Incident

A few days after Atletico’s defeat against Real Madrid in the Super Cup semi-final, Diego Simeone apologized.

During this meeting, the Argentine coach had a big altercation with Vinicius. The exchange of arms had also been captured by the cameras.

An altercation which took place in two acts. The first took place in the first half when Simeone tried to insult the player with these words: “Florentino Perez will fire you, remember what I tell you, Florentino will fire you !”. The second took place in the 81st minute, when Xabi Alonso decided to replace his Brazilian striker, who was booed by the public. “Listen, listen“, El Cholo then said, due to the whistles that accompanied his exit.
