Clear the stage for the playoffs!
The regular season is over, now we’re letting it rip in the playoffs: It starts with the legendary Wild Card Round, in which all teams qualified for the playoffs have to play (only the Broncos and Seahawks can put their feet up). There is only one formula: whoever loses is out! You can find out which games of the Wild Card Round RTL will be broadcast on TV and stream and when here.

First up are the Panthers, who secured the NFC South title despite a negative 8-9 record (!) and therefore have home advantage against the Chargers, who travel to Bank of America Stadium with 11-6 and are clearly favorites there. Will the Panthers pull off a surprise in front of their own audience?

The second playoff is a pure NFC North duel. Packers and Bears know each other inside out and have fought many a battle in recent years. This season both won one of their direct duels, each at home, so the Bears have an advantage?

The Bills and Jaguars are among the strongest teams of the regular season, but because the Bills had to admit defeat to the Pats in the AFC East, there will be a duel in the Wild Card Round. The Bills are slightly favored, but both have won three of the last six meetings. So tension until the end?

The Super Bowl champion from last season also has to do the honors in the Wild Card Round. The Eagles have at least one home game and the fact that they face a third-place team in a division, the 49ers, doesn’t happen that often in the playoffs. Are the Eagles still stumbling?

In addition to the Broncos and Seahawks, the Patriots also marched through the regular season with a furious 14-3 record, but unlike the first two teams mentioned, the Pats have to play in the Wild Card Round. The opponents are the Chargers, who lost a better position on the last two game days. Clearly New England?

At 12-5, the Texans’ record is actually better than that of the Steelers (10-7), but the game is still taking place in Pittsburgh because the Texans had to admit defeat to the Jaguars in the AFC South. Will the Steelers use the home advantage to advance to the next round of the playoffs?
