Manchester City, which is fighting for the cup in the English Premier League and Champions League, has made a flash transfer. The British giant officially announced the transfer of Antoine Semenyo, whom he brought to the city on a private plane yesterday. He signed a 5.5-year contract with the star player of Ghanaian origin.
Semenyo made the following statements in her statement after the signing ceremony: “I have watched City under Pep Guardiola over the last decade and they have been the dominant team in the Premier League, as well as incredible success in the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.
“They set the highest standards and have world-famous players, world-class facilities and a legendary manager like Pep.
“I have so many opportunities to improve myself, being at this club is perfect for me at this point in my career. It’s a real privilege to be here.
“My best football is yet to come, I’m sure of that. City are in an excellent position – they’re still competing in four different competitions. I really feel like I can make a strong contribution to them in the second half.
“The Etihad is my new home. I’m looking forward to playing here in front of the fans and hoping to show everyone what I can do.”
