Roger De Vlaeminck Car Accident: New Year’s Eve Crash & Injuries

Roger De Vlaeminck spent New Year’s Eve with his partner Peggy, who lives in Bilzen. While returning from Limburg to his hometown of Kaprijke, De Vlaeminck’s car overturned several times near Stekene for reasons that are still unclear.

Monsieur Paris-Roubaix was able to get out of the car under his own power and was taken to the hospital in Sint-Niklaas with minor injuries.

Roger De Vlaeminck was one of the greatest riders of his generation.
