The future of Giacomo Raspadori has become, in recent days, a small one market ‘yellow’. The blue striker seemed destined to wear the shirt of Romawho had reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid for a loan transfer, but chose Atalantawhich has put a permanent operation on the table.
Claudio Ranieri, Roma’s senior advisor, explained the evolution of the negotiation: “What happened with Raspadori? I don’t want to talk about the transfer market but as far as Raspadori is concerned, we looked for several players and when it became clear that he wasn’t interested in our call, because he never wanted to talk to us, so we gave up and we understood that the boy didn’t want to come”, he told SportMediaset during the pre-match of Rome-Turin, valid for the round of 16 of the Italian Cup.
“Maybe it was because we would have taken him on loan and not outright, I don’t know,” concluded Ranieri.
