Quimper Badminton: 3 Players at French Championships

The Brittany Ugsel badminton championship, organized in Janzé, was on the program for eight students from the Notre-Dame de Kerbertrand establishment, in Quimperlé, Wednesday January 21, 2026, in partnership with the Badminton club of Kemperlé (BCK). Among the eight middle school students entered, were Lucas Tallec, Leny Tallec and Arthur Arend in junior elite, Emma Modicom in junior junior, Maël Jouannic and Ilan Rosine in junior junior, as well as Nathan Mainguet and Margaux Robins in junior junior.

Three silver medals

“The day was a success, with great effort from the young people, who demonstrated the progress made within the section of the sports association, in connection with the BCK,” underlines Quentin Tuaillon, coach of the BCK, who supervised these young people with the help of Fabien Modicom.

The team returned with three silver medals, won by Maël Jouannic, Nathan Mainguet and Margaux Robins. All three are qualified for the French Ugsel championship, organized in June, near Bourg-en-Bresse.

After the February holidays, the Kerbertrand badists will compete in a team phase, intended to complete the selection for this French championship.
