The Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung stated that Persija Jakarta will face German club, Hertha Berlin in celebration of Jakarta’s 500th anniversary.
Pramono stated that there would be many international activities to celebrate Jakarta’s 500th anniversary.
“Next year Jakarta will be 499 years old, in 2027 Jakarta will be 500 years old. And for this reason, in 2027 there will be many international activities that will be held in Jakarta.”

“One of them, as a football fan, I will invite world football clubs to Jakarta to compete against Persija Jakarta,” said Pramono as quoted by Detik.
In order to prepare for this, Jakarta has prepared itself long ago. One of the German League clubs has been confirmed to attend, namely Hertha Berlin.
“Hopefully the event can go well in commemoration of Jakarta’s 500th anniversary, one of the clubs that is willing to attend is Hertha Berlin [Jerman],” said Pramono.
Persija is currently one of the clubs at the top of the Super League. The Kemayoran Tigers sit in third place and have collected 32 points, two points behind Persib Bandung who are at the top of the standings.
Apart from Persib, Borneo FC (34 points) and Malut United (31) also enlivened the competition at the top. This is what makes this season’s Super League interesting to follow.
