Thirteen times in a row, Pardubice did not lose in regular time, but this series ended in the 42nd round of the Tipsport extra league. Dynamo lost to Mladá Boleslav 2:4, but still remains the league leader. Another loss was also added by Plzeň, which was not enough against České Budějovice and recorded a 1:5 defeat. The highlight of the program is the fight between fifth-placed Liberec and third-placed Třinec.
The guests started actively and kept goalkeeper Klouček busy from the opening goal. Pilsen’s goalie Růžička did not really touch the puck, paradoxically, until the first power play of the West Bohemians. With the same number of players, home team Kašlík and Pilsen’s Filip, who suddenly appeared alone in front of Klouček, got a chance. Kubík’s subsequent penalty showed why the South Bohemians are the best team in weakening. Harris broke away, crossed the center from the left side, and with a swing shot over the defender beat Růžička.
At the end of the power play, Mikko Petman missed the open cage from close range, aiming for the right post. After opportunities from Strnad and Kubík from Budějovice, the visitors showed a quick counterattack and Holešinský equalized from close range after Simon’s pass from the right side. The end of the first period belonged to Motor, but the score did not change even after several dangerous situations in front of Růžička.
When Cibulka was sent off at the beginning of the second period, only Měchura threatened Klouček. The home team defended well. After an unsuccessful attempt, Novák stretched Kachyňa on the blue line and the puck fell into the Pilsen cage along the left post. After a foul by Holešinský on Štencel, Kachyň took on the role of avenger and both Roosters received a five-minute penalty.
Západočech Rohlík got a chance, on the opposite side Olesen zigzagged up to Růžička, but did not finish. Merežko also took a seat and, in his own weakness, the pair of Měchura and Rubins threatened, but Klouček held his team. Ordoš, who took advantage of the opponent’s play, was unable to finish in the next course. Pilsen’s Strnad presented itself with a hard blow without preparation from the right circle, but Klouček was attentive.
At the same time as the second siren, Jeřábek from the visiting team missed a minor penalty and the South Bohemians entered the third period with an unused power play. But then Toman picked up the puck in front of his own blue, stretched through the center of the rink and beat Růžička with a shot around the rebounder. When Mikko Petman was punished for an offensive foul, the home team’s fourth goal was added by Lantoš, who aimed accurately with a swing from the left circle.
Pilsen’s Teplý had a huge chance, but did not correct the result from close range. Even defender Merežko failed to make an attempt from the area above the top of the circles. Despite the obvious effort of the Pilsen team in the end, Budějovičí controlled the game. Harris’ harsh dismissal gave the visitors some hope, but there was no breakthrough. On the contrary, after the end of the penalty, Harris ran straight out of shame and added the sealing hit.
While Pardubice were unable to gain ground in the opening power play of the match and Košťálek was sent off, Mladá Boleslav took advantage of the advantage. Rekonen hit the spot from the left circle. Since then, the guests basically did not let the Skaters out of their zone. But when Mladá Boleslav came within sight of Will, it was a significant danger.
In the 16th minute, after a pass from Skalický, Fořt could have finished in an open goal, but he missed. The home team was lucky when Gazda’s shot hit the post.
Four goals were scored in the second period. In the 24th minute, Procházka cheered up the Mladá Boleslav arena, and at 32:22 it was already 3-0 for the penultimate team in the table after Pyrochta’s accurate shot. However, Košťálek answered for the guests after only eleven seconds, and in the end they went to the cabins for the second time with a one-goal difference. Dynamo got back into range from Červenka’s shot.

In the third period, the guests tried to equalize, but even Mladá Boleslav did not resist the attack, so it was attractive hockey, but without a large number of significant chances. The home team Berglund had one of them, but his shot from an ideal position between the circles was covered by Will. The skaters could have sealed their victory at least three times with a goal into an empty net, but in the end, Skalický finally decided the fate of the match twenty seconds before the end.
Vítkovice won after a series of five defeats. Striker Jindřich Abdul helped the Ostravans succeed with two goals, home goalkeeper Dominik Hrachovina covered a total of 26 shots. Verva lost the sixth of the last eight duels, and both Kladno in twelfth and Mlada Boleslav in thirteenth have lost nine points.

The Steelers confirmed that they are not doing well away from home and lost for the tenth time out of the last eleven starts. Tomáš Galvas and Jasper Weatherby contributed two goals to Liberec’s victory.
The guests entered the game better, taking the lead after only three minutes of play. Kváč’s misplay was caught by Ondřej Kovařčík, who directed the puck in front of the open goal to his brother Michal, who had no problem opening the scoring. The White Tigers tried to find a quick answer, but Zeman failed twice against Kacetl.

A moment later, however, the home team could rejoice, Pérez caught Pytlík’s shot behind Kacetl and equalized. Severo Bohemia kicked the equalizer and Kacetl had his hands full with Lence’s chance. After that, the Steelers played a power play, but they didn’t play it very well and Kváča didn’t have much to do. At the end of the first period, the home team struck again and managed to turn the game around before the break. After good work by Pytlík and Musil, Tomáš Galvas scored with a shot at the near post.
Shortly after the start of the second act, the White Tigers added a third goal. After a quick counterattack, Kacetl Weatherby scored and Liberec led by two goals. Třinečtí could reduce the subsequent numerical advantage, but Liberectí defended themselves without much difficulty.
After that, the home side also played a power play and fared much better. After Adam Musil’s pass, Tomáš Galvas made a breakthrough for the second time in the match and sent the White Tigers to a three-goal blockbuster. At the same time, he drove Kacetl to the substitutes, Mazanec replaced him between the three posts.
The home team was in good spirits and Weatherby scored the fifth goal, but Mazanec was ready. At the very end of the second 20-minute period, Slezáné also got to speak again. Marinčin’s shot was tapped away by the helpless Kváč by the quick-witted Kubiesa and brought the guests back into the game.
He could have returned the three-goal lead to home Filippi at the beginning of the third period, but he went just wide from an ideal position between the circles. On the opposite side, Kubiesa shot dangerously, but Kváča pulled off a great save. In the 51st minute, however, after a series of rebounds, Flynn from Ex-Liberty got to the puck and with a quick shot under the crossbar reduced the difference to only one goal.
The steel players then threw all their forces into the attack, but ran into a well-formed home defense. Less than three minutes before the final siren, the visiting coach Žabka tried to play without a goalkeeper, but he made it 5:3 with a shot into the abandoned goal with his second goal in the Weatherby match.
Kladno scored a total of thirteen goals in the previous two matches, but this time it came up empty against the great goalkeeper Stanislav Škorvánek from Hradec Králové. He kept his seventh clean sheet of the season and together with the only successful scorer Patrik Miškář led Mountfield to a narrow 1:0 victory. The East Bohemians won after two defeats in a row. The Knights lost only for the second time in seven games under new coach Tomáš Plekanec.
Energie na Hané was losing after a goal by Lukáš Nahodil, but turned the score around thanks to the power play interventions of the Latvians Haralds Egle and Janis Jaks. David Šťastný, David Moravec and captain Jiří Černoch then made their mark for the guests. In addition, he assisted on three goals and confirmed his position as the best scorer of the West Bohemian team. The fourth Karlovy Vary won the third of the last four away matches. Olomouc did not score for the second time in a row and is eleventh.
