Through this program, participants receive specialized instruction from coaches with Major League experience, strengthening their technical, physical and mental skills en route to professional baseball.

MLB’s commitment to Puerto Rico also extends to initiatives such as the Youth Development Program, which impacts four regions of the country, as well as emblematic activities such as Play Ball, Pitch, Hit & Run, and the participation of local teams in high-level events such as the Commissioner’s Cup and the Breakthrough Series.

These initiatives reaffirm MLB’s continued commitment to identifying, developing and enhancing Puerto Rican talent, strengthening the future of baseball on the Island and creating real opportunities for the next generations of players.
