While she is preparing to embark on the adventure of Dancing with the Stars, Laure Manaudou has also decided to participate in the next Paris marathon, even becoming an ambassador for a partner of the event alongside Stéphane Diagana.
The next few weeks promise to be busy for Laure Manaudou. A year after her brother, the former swimmer has in fact decided to participate in Dancing with the Stars, the new season of which starts this Friday. For the past two weeks, she has been working hard with her dance partner, Christian Millette, between Arcachon and Paris.
And if she has big doubts about her dancing level and more particularly about her sense of rhythm, Laure Manaudou is counting on her good physical shape to shine. And this should improve. Because in parallel with Dancing with the Stars, the Olympic champion has decided to prepare for the next Paris marathon, which will take place in mid-April.
“The program is going to be very intense. I would have preferred everything to be spread out a little more over time, but I don’t really have a choice. The challenge now is above all to organize myself well to succeed in doing everything correctly”she confided in the columns of Parisianrecalling that she was initially supposed to participate in that of Valence last December alongside Arnaud Clément or Nacer Bouhanni.
Laure Manaudou will play the ambassadors
“But I got sick, I had hepatitis,
she continued. But despite everything, it opened the doors to the world of running for me. It’s cool to start in France, even if Paris is not easy because there are climbs. It won’t be easy to combine dancing and running. »
And this time, Laure Manaudou will be able to count on the advice of Stéphane Diagana. Just like the former 400m hurdles specialist, the native of Villeurbanne has indeed agreed to be an ambassador for Hyundai, the new mobility partner of the Paris Marathon.
This choice is not trivial for Jean Nelson, head of partnerships at the South Korean manufacturer. “Laure Manaudou has an audience of 80% women and she will be a first-time participant like 56% of people next April,” he explained.
