The leisure badminton club chaired by Gwenaël Thomas organized a drink for its members to welcome the new year, Saturday January 24, 2026 at the La Vraie-Croix sports hall. It was also the opportunity to receive their new jerseys in the presence of their sponsors.
“There is really demand”
Created in 2024, this club has 35 members and makes it a point of honor to meet in a friendly atmosphere, to play in the leisure category. He meets every Thursday, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the sports hall.
“There are quite a few of us on Thursday evenings, for this reason we are thinking of soon creating a new slot for fans of this sport because there is really demand,” explain Gwenaël Thomas, president and Aurélien Mandon, vice-president.
On this occasion, Gwenaël Thomas thanked the town hall for laying out the pitch for the sports hall last October and purchasing six nets.
