Jordi Schell Named DSS Head Coach | [Team/League Name]

DSS has found the new head coach for the 2026-2027 season in Jordi Schell. The 36-year-old Schell is the successor to Edo Knol, who recently announced that he would be leaving for Stormvogels after this season. He comes over from Saturday fifth grader Overbos.

“We are pleased to announce that Jordi Schell has been appointed as the new head coach of the men’s selection with effect from the 2026-2027 season. After a careful search, DSS is convinced that it has found the right man in Jordi Schell to further shape the club’s sporting ambitions,” said the DSS board.

With his arrival, the Sunday third division team has once again managed to attract a young, ambitious trainer. He was previously a trainer for the Heemsteedse VEW and is currently still working in Hoofddorp at Overbos. As a player, he played for a long time in the youth of Ajax and also in the promise team of the Amsterdam team. He then put on the shirt of Young Boys and Koninklijke HFC.
