Jerry Jones: Cowboys Super Bowl Ambitions

One thing is certain, Jerry Jones (owner, Cowboys) is good at entertaining us. During his last outing, the octogenarian told ESPN he wanted to leave with the most Super Bowls for an owner.

“My goal in life is to leave as the owner with the most Super Bowls,” he said during the end-of-season press conference. “We have three. How much is missing as the sole owner? Robert Kraft (Patriots) has how many? 6? So I still have work to do. But at least I’m second. »

Jerry Jones actually has work. The Cowboys have just completed their 30th season since their last Super Bowl. Worse, since 1995, they have been the only NFC team not to have reached the conference finals. And in the last two years, they have not reached the playoffs at all.

Defensively, everything has to be (re)constructed since the exchange of Micah Parson (Packers). Dallas has just finished its worst season in the field with 511 points conceded. There seem to be many holes to fill. But nothing to make Jones doubt.

“All teams have holes. That’s how it works. But I see six teams in the playoffs that weren’t there last season. I know it can happen. I know it’s a small matter. Our defense might improve faster than expected. »

It’s all the bad we wish the Cowboys but Jerry Jones still seems to be in denial…
