Jarret Stidham: NFL History Made | [Team Name]

With Bo Nix injured, Jarret Stidham will get a rare start in the NFL. The 29-year-old quarterback will make his first start this season and he will do so in a one-off game, in the American final.

Stidham will therefore be the second quarterback to play his first game as a starter of the season in an association final. The first was Roger Staubach of the Dallas Cowboys, who played his first game as a starter in 1972 in the NL final against Washington, a game the Cowboys lost 26-3.

Jarrett Stidham’s four starts in the NFL will represent the lowest total for a quarterback before a conference final in league history.

The Broncos will host the winner of the game between the Houston Texans and New England Patriots.

The American Association final will take place Sunday, January 25 from 3 p.m.
