Inter Miami CF Signs Berterame: 3-Year Deal

Buenos Aires.- He Inter Miamicurrent MLS champion and team led by Lionel Messi, has closed the signing of Germán Berterame, until now forward for Rayados de Monterrey.

As Súper Deportivo has been able to find out, Inter Miami agreed to pay 15 million for the signing of Berterame. 10.5 million will go to Rayados’ accounts and 4.5 to Atlético de Madrid.

This medium knows that the forward will sign a three-year contract, with the option of a fourth season.

Last week, Súper Deportivo reported that Inter Miami offered 15 million dollars, but Rayados was reluctant to accept, since the amount was less than the 20 million agreed in the striker’s exit clause.

Inter Miami’s interest responds to its objective of strengthening the squad for the 2026 season, in which it will seek to defend the league title. The American club, led by Messi and with figures like Luis Suárez, seeks to add offensive power and considers the naturalized Mexican attacker as an ideal piece.

Berterame, an Argentine naturalized Mexican, is preparing to be in the 2026 World Cup with the Mexican National Team. He came to national soccer to play for Atlético de San Luis, where he stood out for his scoring ability, and since his arrival at Rayados he has scored 68 goals in all competitions.

Last Friday, the forward was again present on the scoreboard by scoring in Monterrey’s 5-1 win over Mazatlán, corresponding to Matchday 3 of Clausura 2026 of the MX League, reaffirming his great moment.
