Heart of Sport: Essential Qualities of a Hero

Because it is always good to remember that sport must be accessible in all its forms, this Thursday evening the Paris Basketball Foundation highlighted the association At the Heart of Sport.

BASKETBALL as a synonym for INCLUSION! As part of our Hero of the Game, Au Cœur du Sport spoke during half-time of this clash against Monaco.

For several years, this association has promoted the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of sport: competition, leisure or as spectators. This initiative is materialized in particular by the transformation of this practice into an activity that is both accessible, visible and even inclusive.

Au Coeur du Sport works to ensure that sport is not a reserved space, but a place open to all. Facilitating access to practice, supporting courses, promoting people with disabilities… The actions are as numerous as they are diverse. However, they come together around 3 key words: autonomy, confidence and participation in social life.

Bringing to the forefront these journeys often confined in the shadows. This was the objective of our evening Hero of the Game.
