(Seremban News on the 16th) The 65thHeads of State CupThe National Basketball Tournament kicked off this morning at the Seremban Flower City Comprehensive Sports Center. The semi-finals of the men’s 3-a-side competition were revealed. Negeri Sembilan and Johor will face Pahang and Selangor respectively.
Negri Sembilan, composed of Chung Chun Yang, Wong Hin Fu, Tsang Tsz Fong and Yau Ka Ho, defeated Kuala Lumpur and Perak 22-9, 20-15 in the first two games of the group stage, but lost to Johor in the final round.
Johor, composed of Peng Zhenghao, Huang Kaijie, Cheng Zunkai and Cheng Yihang, rebounded after losing to Perak in the first game of Group B, winning Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan 22-14, 21-17, and finally defeated Perak to qualify.
After the group stage, Sen, Rou and Phai all had a record of 2 wins and 1 loss. The situation was complicated and the average score between the three teams had to be calculated. Sen and Rou both scored 20 points and Pali was eliminated with 19 points.
In Group A, Selangor won 2 games and won the title of league leader.
