How will Hajduk look at the beginning of the second part of the season? The answer to that question is of interest to all the fans of the Split club, who are not looking so much at the potential arrival of reinforcements at Poljud, but at the activation of the internal potential through better performances of some players who are already in Hajduk. The editor-in-chief of Sportski novosti talked about this in “Sportski jutru”. Robert School i journalist SN Davorin Olivari.
One of the most important issues in Poljud is status Adriona Pajazitijaa 23-year-old Albanian national team player whose autumn was quite turbulent.
– When Pajaziti came to Poljud, practically without preparation, in the first five or six games he was by far the best player of Hajduk, and then when he settled into the team, when he stabilized, he dropped a lot. It doesn’t sound very logical – said Šola, and Olivari continued:
– I would connect that story with coach Gonzalo Garcia. When he came Fran Karačić he was excellent, among the best, just like the Pajazites, and now they have disappeared. Marko Livaja is on the bench. Garcia has an interesting very interesting approach to these players.
Olivari has a clear opinion about the players who were not in the foreground at the end of the first part of the season:
– If you had asked me before the start of the season what I thought about these players, I would have said that Livaja, Pajaziti and Karačić must play ‘for the rest of their lives’, so to speak. In the end, neither of them was in the starting line-up at the end of the season. I was convinced that Pajaziti would be the main player in Hajduk’s midfield, we all commented at the beginning of the season what kind of player they brought to Split. But football is strange, everything went downhill suddenly and Pajaziti fell out of the combinations – Olivari pointed out and emphasized:
– It is difficult to fully understand Garcia and his decisions. I am now waiting to see what will happen with Livaj, whether he will really continue to be on the bench.
– If we look at autumn and some of Garcia’s thoughts, it seems that they will – Šola answered that question.
