Gauchão hasn’t started yet, but the changing the date and time of the first Gre-Nal classic of the year has given something to talk about. This Wednesday (7), the Gaucho Football Federation (FGF) reported the changes. The game moved from January 24th, at 6:30 pm, to the 25th, at 8pm. The match will take place in Beira-Rio.
Grêmio requested to change the day due to the trip which he will do for Bagé during the week of the classic, which will be played for the 449th time. The game against Guarany is scheduled for January 21st.
Inter, however, did not approve the change and claimed that the team’s operational planning was changed. The president Alessandro Barcellos he even classified the change as regrettable and said that the club was caught by surprise.
In contact with the report, the FGF reinforced that he analyzed the request and understood that there is no technical loss to any of the teams, since the competition has not yet started.
