2026 Indoor Football Championship: Daugavpils – Results & Updates

The 2026 Daugavpils open indoor football championship has started with dynamic games. Already on January 3 and 4 Daugavpils in the Olympic Center the first ten matches of the tournament have been played.

A total of ten teams participate in the championship, which compete in a one-round tournament during the regular season. After the regular season, the top eight teams will qualify for the playoffs, so every match from the first rounds has a significant impact on the overall standings.

On the first day, January 3, the spectators had the opportunity to watch a productive and dynamic indoor football match. The tournament started with a draw (2:2) between “Daugavpils FS U-17” and “Kalupe”, but later “DFS Futsal” confidently entered the battle for the leading positions, beating “PŠFK Hektors” 5:1. The duel between “Juva Pro” and “Līksna/SQE” was tense until the last minutes, in which “Juva Pro” won by one point 5:4. The most productive match of the day was played by “Team 29” and “Daugavgrīvas Cietums”, in which “Team 29” won 8:3, while “VRS Daugavpils administration” concluded the first day of games with a 4:2 victory over “Luxberry/Yoggi Bear”.

On the second day of the games, January 4, the pace of the tournament became even more intense. “DFS Futsal” continued the started, convincingly defeating “Daugavpils FS U-17” with 7:1. The game between “Kalupe” and “VRS Daugavpils administration” ended with a draw of 3:3. On the other hand, “Juva Pro” was also able to protect the victory in the second game, beating “PŠFK Hektors” with 4:3. “Daugavgrīvas Cietums” defeated “Līksna/SQE” with 3:2, but “Luxberry/Yoggi Bear” and “Team 29” ended the game day with a draw of 3:3.

After two games played. “DFS Futsal” and “Juva Pro” in the tournament table have accumulated pa 6 points: DFS Futsal with goal ratio 12:2Juva Pro – 9:7. “Team 29” and “VRS Daugavpils Administration” takes the next positions with 4 points for each team (respective goal 11:6 and 7:5). “Daugavgrīva Prison” ar 3 points and gate ratio 6:10 strengthened in the middle part of the table. On the other hand, “Molds” has accumulated 2 points (gate ratio 5:5). Pa 1 point and “Luxberry/Yoggi Bear” (5:7) and “Daugavpils FS U-17″ (3:9), bet “Curve/SQE’ (6:8) and “PŠFK Hektor” (3:9) remained scoreless after the first two rounds.

The championship will continue January 17 and 18when the next regular season games are scheduled in the Daugavpils Olympic Center.

All championship games are held in the Daugavpils Olympic Center, and the entrance for spectators is free.
