Fiorentina played their first match after the death of club president Rocco Commisso. On January 17, the club’s press service reported that the Italian-American businessman and media manager died at the age of 76.
Fiorentina extended their unbeaten streak in Serie A to four matches and is 18th in the standings with 17 points. Bologna is in eighth place with 30 points.
