This Saturday January 24 and Sunday January 25, 2026, the Salle des Cordiers will be full of young people for the Finistère badminton championship. Organizer of the event, the Badminton club Kemperle expects 140 players from the chick, junior, junior, cadet and junior categories. Flagship club of the department, BCK will be the best represented with 64 qualified young people. “We are happy to organize this event because the last three editions took place in North Finistère and there was a desire to experience such a championship in South Finistère. Our young people are very motivated to be able to play at home,” declares BCK president Jacky Hamoniaux.
Singles and doubles
The young players will play in singles and mixed doubles this Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., then in boys’ doubles or girls’ doubles, Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. “The BCK should win several titles and obtain many places of honor. A perspective that will satisfy the coaches and highlight their excellent work,” adds Jacky Hamoniaux. The public will see young people already members of the French team.
