The former Cleveland Browns driver has signed a five-year contract with the Falcons. He was fired by the Ohio organization at the conclusion of the most recent regular season.

Stefanski was the head coach of the Browns from 2020 to 2025. He maintained a 45-56 record with this team, in addition to being named NFL Coach of the Year twice (2020 and 2023).

In six seasons under his leadership, the Cleveland team made the playoffs twice. In 2025, the Browns took fourth place in the North American standings, with a 5-12 record.

For their part, the Falcons posted an 8-9 record and took third place in the South section of the National. They missed the playoffs for an eighth straight year.

Stefanski succeeds Raheem Morris in Atlanta. The services of the latter were not retained after the last regular season.
