Dafne Quintero Open 2026: Archery Selection Begins in Puebla

Mexico.- Mexican archery will officially begin its selection process towards the 2026 season this weekend with the ‘Dafne Quintero’ Open, a fair that will take place at the Nora Leticia Rocha Sports Unit, located in Monclova, Coahuila.

It will be the second edition of this competition, after the success obtained last year, since it will have the participation of almost 200 archers in various categories and types of bow: recurve and compound.

In addition, this prestigious event will serve as a selection for the CONADE 2026 National Olympiad, so it is expected electrifying disputes that will start from the qualifying phases to the knockout phases that will define the champions.

This competition pays tribute to Dafne Quintero from Coahuila, one of the best exponents of shooting. with the country’s women’s compound bow, international multi-medallist and part of the generation that will experience its first Olympic cycle on the way to Los Angeles 2028.

The 2026 edition of this tournament will have a special moment, as the ‘Sebastián García’ archery school will be inaugurated, Named in honor of the Monclovenian national team, where the new generations of Mexican goalkeepers will be forged.
