Curtis Jones (25) has for a long time been an up-and-coming player in the Liverpool team. The locally-bred midfielder has seemingly been on the verge of breaking into full bloom for the Scousers for a number of years.
However, this season has not gone according to plan for either Jones or Liverpool. The 25-year-old has only one assist and no goals in 20 Premier League games.
At the same time, Arne Slot has not come close to recreating the dream season he had in his first year as Liverpool manager.

Now it may be possible for Curtis Jones to move towards a sensational change of club, after 16 years as a Liverpool player.
According to the well-known Fabrizio Romano, Bodø/Glimt’s next Champions League opponent, Inter, is in dialogue with Liverpool about bringing Jones to Italy on loan.

There should also be talk of a clause to buy the Englishman free after the loan period, claims the Italian transfer expert.
Inter and Liverpool reportedly held talks about the possible Jones transfer on Friday evening, but a possible agreement also depends on whether Inter release midfielder Davide Frattesi (26) to Nottingham Forest before the January window closes.

The information comes at about the same time as reports suggest that the Dutch wing-back Denzel Dumfries (29) is in question for a change of club in the opposite direction, from Inter to Liverpool.
It reports Gianluca Di Marzioanother Italian journalist who specializes in the transfer market in Football Europe.
The Dumfries link to Liverpool is said to have become even hotter after the injury Jeremie Frimpong sustained in Liverpool’s Champions League match against Qarabag earlier this week.
Dumfries is also injured at the moment, and has undergone ankle surgery. However, the 29-year-old is expected to be ready for games again within a month.
The transfer window is open until Monday 2 February at 20:00, both in the English Premier League and Italian Serie A.
