The Fermi–Polo Tecnico Brutium took part in the filming of the Linea Verde broadcast, which will be broadcast on Saturday on Rai 1, experiencing an educational experience that united school, territory and sport in a single large educational network. Led by the school director Rosita Paradiso, and coordinated by Professor Oscar Alò, the students were active protagonists within the municipal sports facilities in Viale Parco, involved in orientation teaching activities based on cooperative working. The project saw the collaboration of the internal departments of Motor Sciences and Area 5, the University of Calabria, Cus Unical, Coni Calabria and numerous local sports federations and associations. The outdoor workshops offered a wide range of disciplines: from orienteering to rugby, from skating to badminton, from volleyball to cycling, up to equestrian sports and shooting. A real open-air gym, where the kids were able to experiment with real skills, interact with high-level technicians and athletes and experience sport as a tool for growth. Particularly significant was the presence of ETS Totò For Special One, a concrete example of participatory inclusion, and of athletes of national and international importance, who enriched the event with testimonies of commitment, sacrifice and passion. Sport has thus confirmed itself as a universal language capable of promoting physical well-being, cognitive development, socialization and values such as respect for rules and cooperation. A result that testifies to the strength of an open school rooted in the territory, ready to train aware citizens through authentic experiences. The next appointment is set for March 5th, again in Cosenza, in the name of a citizenship that starts from the classroom and arrives in life.
