Saudi Arabian club Al Wahda announced this Thursday the arrival of former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.
Former Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke has joined Al Wahda as a free agent, the UAE Professional League club announced on Thursday.
“Al Wahda Football Club announces the signing of Belgian professional Christian Benteke, as part of the club management’s plans to meet the team’s needs and strengthen the success factors in the next stage”Al Wahda said in a statement without providing further details.

Born in Kinshasa, this striker began his career at Genk in 2007 before joining Aston Villa in 2012. He then played at Liverpool and Crystal Palace before joining DC United in 2022.
The 35-year-old confirmed his departure from the American team earlier this week via social media, after three years with the club.
