On Sunday 11 January sport returns to the forefront with the first edition of the “Befana Cup”il football tournament organized byASD Oratorio Maffei of Casalmaggioreready to liven up the morning and afternoon with a quadrangular full of emotions, fun and sporting spirit. Starting from 10.30 am, four local teams will take to the field:
ASD Oratorio Maffei, UC Casalese, ASD La Piccola Atene Sabbioneta, ASD Polisportiva San Giovanni.
The tournament includes two semi-finals with draw pairings, followed in the afternoon by the finals: the challenge for 3rd and 4th place and the final for 1st and 2nd place, which will decide the winner of the Befana Cup. Four special prizes will also be awarded to the “best goalkeeper”, “best young player”, “top scorer”, “best player” of the tournament.
“The demonstration – specifies the president Don Arrigo Duranti –it will be designed for the whole community: for the duration of the tournament the kiosk on the side of the pitch will be active, where fans, families and enthusiasts will be able to eat and drink in a festive atmosphere.
There is also room for luck with a subscription to prizes, which will be up for grabs two official US Cremonese shirtsa special prize for all lovers of soccer.
