The licensee of the Arc club of Nîmes, in the running for the Gard Sportsmen’s Trophy, continues to confirm his talent, year after year. And 2025 was no exception to the rule.
He’s only 19 but, as with some precocious champions, don’t talk to him about age. Finalist, at just 16 years old, in a World Cup round, in Nîmes in 2023, before winning Olympic team silver (with Jean-Charles Valladont) in Paris, in 2024. Le Gard holds his new star.
”Great pride in being nominated for this Audience Award”
”For me, it is a great pride and a great pleasure to be nominated for this Audience Awardrejoices Addis in the presentation video published on the 2025 Gard Sportsmen’s Trophy website. The Department has been there from the start, it has always accompanied us, has always been behind us.”
On the shooting range, the young man did not need anyone in 2025 to collect individual medals. Bronze at the beginning of June in Türkiye and silver in July in Madrid, over two World Cup rounds. ”The D1 team, too, did well”he adds, recalling the title of vice-champion of France won with the Arc Club de Nîmes.
Addis closed the year 2025 better, in bronze during the 4th round of the Indoor World Cup, in Taipei (Taiwan), at the beginning of December, than he opened 2026, leaving in the qualifications for the Indoor World Series, last weekend in Nîmes.
In 2026, be present on all fronts
No matter: the room is one thing, the outside is another. A sort of justice of the peace for every archer. ”My goal, in 2026, is to be present in all competitionshe aims. I really want to use each year, either to achieve results or to learn.” Before finishing, the boy has a message for the Gard public: ”Don’t hesitate to vote for me to also support a less publicized sport.”
