Badminton: U14 RB Final Victory

Great success for the badminton teams from the St. Konrad high school: At the RB final in Ehingen, which was held at the Johann Vanotti high school, the teams impressed with strong performances. The U14 team from class 7a was particularly successful, beating no less than eleven opposing teams and somewhat surprisingly, but absolutely deservedly, winning the tournament.

With this success, the team secured its ticket to the state finals on March 18th. The competition was extremely exciting until the end. Across all matches, the best teams were close together, so that in the end the tournament victory was decided by a very narrow lead: the team from 7a won one set more than the host team from the Johann-Vanotti-Gymnasium Ehingen and thus took first place. The other teams from St. Konrad High School also presented themselves in good form.

The second U14 team achieved a respectable fourth place at RB Tübingen. The U20 mixed team also showed convincing performances and finished the tournament in RB Tübingen in a strong third place. Jonas Pfiffner, Marie Armenat, Daniel Wiebe, Siemen Nickel and Anna Schuhmann played for the U20 team.

The successful U14 team consisted of Noah Breitschmidt, Johann Schubert, Bennet Fehr, Moritz Eberhardt, Hannes Batzill, Frieda Wagner and Emilie Chiandetti. The U14 team is now looking forward to the upcoming state final on March 18th, where they will once again compete against the best school teams in Baden-Württemberg.
