B.LEAGUE 2026 New Year’s Messages

I would like to offer my best wishes for the new year.

We are very happy to welcome the new year 2026 together with our fans, partners, and everyone who loves basketball.

B.LEAGUE is currently in the midst of its memorable 10th season.
10 years have passed since the opening in 2016. The excitement that has been building up in arenas across the country will continue to grow even more in the second half of the season and into the postseason. I would be happy if you could share the excitement and heartbeat of that moment with me.

We believe that basketball has the power to move people’s emotions, revitalize local economies, and create positive chains in society. What we have built over the past 10 years is a solid foundation for realizing our philosophy of “Revitalizing Japan through Basketball.” With this ambition in mind, B.LEAGUE will move forward to the next stage.

From the 2026-27 season, which begins this fall, the league reform “B. Innovation” will finally begin. This reform aims to achieve a higher level of competition and growth by reviewing the structure of the league, including the introduction of a draft system, the competitive environment, the development system, and the foundation of club management. We will fundamentally rebuild the league structure and build a world-class professional sports model. This is also a major challenge for the Japanese sports world.
The feeling of elation the moment you step into the arena, the trembling of your heart that continues until the final buzzer. We will deliver more “exciting” and “heart-filled” moments to all of Japan than ever before.

After passing the milestone of our 10th anniversary, B.LEAGUE will step into a new phase of growth. B.LEAGUE, which is evolving through “B. Innovation,” aims to redefine the value of basketball and become a presence that circulates positive energy throughout Japan.
In 2026, we will work with you to create the best scenery that no one has ever seen. We sincerely ask for your continued support and support for B.LEAGUE this year.
