The highest representatives of the basketball Rosario at the national level appeared this Friday with mixed luck. While in the Argentine Basketball League (second level) Provincial defeated Tomás de Rocamora at home, the Náutico girls fell in Córdoba against Instituto in the Women’s League.
For a new date of the Argentine League in the Southern Conference, Rojo beat Tomás de Rocamora in Rosario by 75 to 73 with a double from Adrian Boccia with three seconds remaining.
The development of the match was very even. They both had their moments. It was Rocamora who dominated the rhythms of the game for much of the first half. To the point that he got a maximum of 17 points, although that was as far as it went.
Esteban Gatti’s cast with Acosta, Gerbaudo, Barahona and Boccia began the comeback. Rocamora could no longer sustain the intensity in defense, the locals took advantage and with a great third quarter, they managed to even the story.

Meanwhile, the Náutico girls cannot find a way back to their performance as visitors. They lost 64 to 34 against Instituto and added their seventh loss in a row outside of Velasco. Now they will have five games at home.
They will play on January 23, at 9 p.m., against James Craik’s Chañares; on January 25, at 8:30 p.m., with San José de Mendoza; on January 27, at 9 p.m., in front of the Institute; and on January 29, at 8:30 p.m., against Hindu.
It is worth noting that those directed by Guillermo Carrozo could not count on Guadalupe Castelnuovo, Julia Peralta and Catalina Creolani.
