The PalaCarnera Credifriuli training center: great success for the FIP event with the “Question Time” by coach Adriano Vertemati

Il PalaCarnera Credifriuli it has once again confirmed itself not only as the home of great basketball, but also as a place of growth and training for the entire movement. In fact, an important event promoted by the company took place today evening Italian Basketball Federationdedicated to updating coaches in the regional area.
The meeting recorded a large and attentive participation, demonstrating how continuous training represents an essential value today for those who work in the world of basketball.
The update offered coaches the opportunity to improve their technical and methodological skills, but also to reflect on the educational role of the coach, which is increasingly central in the growth path of young athletes. A trained technician, in fact, not only teaches the game better, but also develops fundamental relational and educational skills for the training of the so-called life skillslife skills that take players well beyond the basketball court.
The highlight of the evening was the “Question Time” con Adriano Vertematihead coach of APU Old Wild West Udine in Serie A and Assistant Coach of the Italian national team, who spoke openly with the coaches present, answering questions, sharing personal experiences, case studies, working methodologies and visions of modern basketball. A direct, concrete and stimulating comparison, capable of combining technical, tactical and human aspects of the role of the coach.
The event was opened by an institutional greeting from Claudio BardiniPresident of the Friuli Venezia Giulia National Coaches Committee, who wanted to underline the value of initiatives like this: “I sincerely thank all the coaches present for their participation and attention. Continuous training is one of the pillars of our movement: it means investing in the quality of people, even before sporting results. Evenings like this help build a true community of educators, aware of their role and responsible for the growth of our kids“.
He also spoke during the evening Massimo Piubellopatron of the association “What a show“, affiliated with FIP, which reiterated the value of the project: “Bringing events of this level to the area is a source of great pride. Congratulations to the Regional Committee. One of our objectives with the Road to format is to create opportunities for discussion in the world of sport, because only through the sharing of experiences can the movement truly grow and cultivate Sports Culture. I thank the FIP, APU Udine and coach Vertemati for making this evening possible”.
Words of great satisfaction also from the coach Adriano Vertematiwho underlined the importance of comparison and exchange: “Dialogue between coaches is fundamental. There are no magic formulas, but only the desire to question oneself, update oneself and improve oneself every day. Basketball continually evolves and with it our skills must also evolve, not only technical but above all human. Our task is to help the players grow as athletes, but even before that as people“.
The FIP event represented a moment of great value for the entire basketball movement of Friuli Venezia Giulia, strengthening the link between training, territory and high level. Further confirmation of PalaCarnera Credifriuli as a point of reference not only for the basketball played, but also for the basketball conceived, studied and built day after day.
