Today, Vietnamese badminton player Le Duc Phat, ranked second in the rankings, announced that he will get married on January 24th at the home of his fiancee Do Thien Nguyet in Hong Thai Village, Nhu Quoin Township, Hung Yen Province. Le Duc Phat said, “We plan to hold a reception at the bride’s house first, and a reception at the groom’s house later this year after the couple participates in the 2026 National Sports Festival in Ho Chi Minh City.”

The bride, Do Thi An Nguyet, sent the wedding invitations online on her social media page and said, “Due to various circumstances and preparation restrictions, my wife and I are unable to send wedding invitations directly to everyone. We ask for your understanding.”
After dating for about two years, Le Duc Phat successfully proposed to his girlfriend in early January, and they later decided to get married and start a new life together. Le Duc Phat, 28, is the second-ranked Vietnamese men’s badminton player, and Do Thi Anh Nguyet is a member of the Vietnam national archery team. Both have achieved significant achievements at domestic and international competitions, with their most memorable achievement being qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
