Salamanca archery has experienced a successful weekend in the Municipal Pavilion of Mojados (Valladolid). On Saturday, January 17th and Sunday, January 18th, the Castilla y León Championship archery in the room, an event that brought together all categories and modalities of the community and where the Club ArcoTormes has obtained results classified as “highly satisfactory”.
The charro expedition has returned with several medals, a regional record and the fulfillment of qualifying objectives for the next state events. The championship has served to confirm the good form of Salamanca athletes at the start of the 2026 season.
Guardiola’s hegemony in a naked arc
The great protagonist of the competition has been Amparo Guardiola Paz. On Saturday morning, the goalkeeper demonstrated to maintain the high competitive level exhibited in previous seasons by winning with authority in the category of naked bow woman.
Guardiola put in an impeccable performance that earned him the chance to climb to the top of the podium twice: he took first place in both the absolute category as in category Veteran Woman. These two golds reinforce their preparation for the next national championships, their next major objective on the calendar.
Regional sub-15 record
The generational change also gave joy to the club on Saturday afternoon. Martina Gemma Domínguez García shined in the category of compound bow woman under 15 years old.
The young athlete not only achieved first place in the classification, but her performance will go down in the history books of the federation by establishing the new record for Castilla y León of this category, confirming its great sporting projection.
Qualification for the Spanish Championship
The competition closed on Sunday the 18th with the participation of the absolute compound bow category. The archers Eduardo Salamanca Logedo y Victor José Sánchez Andrés They finished in eighth and ninth position, respectively.
Beyond the final table, the most relevant were the notable scores obtained in their qualifying series. These marks allow both athletes to ensure their presence in the next Spanish Championshipwhich will be held in the month of February.

The participation of ArcoTormes in Valladolid lands was completed with the following results:
- Moisés Carballo del Rey (traditional arc): He managed to make the qualifying cut in 13th place, but was later eliminated in the round of 16 on Saturday morning.
- Ignacio Rosado Benito (recurve/Olympic bow): He achieved a creditable ninth place in what marked his return to official competition.
