(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes awarded a two-year contract to American defensive back Thakarius Keyes on Wednesday.

Keyes, a six-foot-one, 220 lb. player, was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Laurel, Mississippi native played in 13 NFL games with the Chiefs, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, totaling seven tackles.
He also played for the New England Patriots, Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.
