2026 Pan Am Cup Coach Applications

USA Badminton is accepting applications for team staff for the 2026 Pan Am Male and Female Cup. Please review the roles and criteria here: Coach Application for the 2026 Pan Am M&F Cup

The Coach positions are voluntary positions funded by USAB for travel & hotel. However, in the event that funding falls short, reimbursement of expenses will be reduced at USAB’s sole discretion. Each coach is expected to also assist with the other team, depending on scheduling. USAB reserves the right to adjust/change the number and assignment of coaches selected.

Applications are DUE Friday, January 16, 2026, 12 PM (NOON) Pacific Time. Click for the application form. Only applications submitted through this JotForm will be accepted. Only Coaches that meet the selection criteria will be considered.

Tournament Dates

Continental Qualifier – 2026 Pan Am M&F Cup (Guatemala City, Guatemala): February 12 – 15, 2026

Finals – TotalEnergies BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2026 (Horsens, Denmark): April 25 – May 3, 2026

It is the intent that the coach(es) selected for the Continental Qualifier will serve as the coach(es) for the Finals.

Event(s): Team Competition. The Team will consist of ten (10) U.S. male players for the Men’s Team and ten (10) U.S. female players selected from the 2025 YONEX USA Badminton Adult National Championships.

The USAB High Performance Committee (USAB HPC) will review the identified pool of candidates for the positions and evaluate individuals based on the requirements listed in the selection criteria. USA Badminton High Performance Committee (HPC) consists of USAB:

  • Coaching Director, Board of Directors – Jamie Subandhi, OLY
  • CEO/interim CEO, or designated USAB staff member – Justin Rogers
  • Director (Manager), Para-Badminton – Yuko Kawasaki
  • USAB Team USA AC Representative, Board of Directors – Eva Lee, OLY
  • USAB Alternate Team USA AC Representative, Board of Directors – Paula Lynn O. Cao Hok, OLY
