It will be located between the Obispo Sancho de Castilla and Carmen Martín Gaite avenueswith a capacity planned for about 2,000 people during the week and 600 concentrated during the weekend.
Aware that sport is increasingly gaining more importance in the city, Carbayo has highlighted the extensive facilities of this pavilion that will allow the practice of various sports such as indoor soccer, basketball, rhythmic gymnastics, handball, volleyball, badminton, combat sports such as judo, karate and kickboxing and adapted sports. For greater versatility, it will have gym y physical-sports activity rooms for adults such as maintenance, pilates and yoga, becoming a reference sports center.
It will be composed of 3 athletics tracks, 9 swimming pools, 14 tennis courts, 17 soccer fields and 42 outdoor multi-sports courts.
The main track It is designed so that up to two indoor soccer or basketball teams can train on an entire field, differentiating the fields with a separating curtain that would also be placed in school competitions or provincial or regional base sports. In addition, it will have a attached track for training and approved tracks to host regional and national grassroots championships in indoor soccer, basketball, handball, rhythmic gymnastics, badminton, volleyball, etc.
