This weekend, Hamburg and Eintracht Frankfurt played an interesting game against each other. The match ended in a draw, but that was not the most important part of the match.
In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich is already nine points ahead of Borussia Dortmund and the rest of the teams. Hamburg is currently thirteenth, while Frankfurt finished in seventh place in the rankings.
The match between both teams ended in a 1-1 draw. Sambi Lokonga – whom we know from RSC Anderlecht – scored the 1-0, but he was not even the biggest hero of the match in the Volkspark Stadium in Hamburg.

That was Luka Vuskovic. The 18-year-old central defender is on loan from Tottenham to Hamburger SV this season – last season he was still active for Westerlo in the Belgian league and made a big impression.

He did that now too, but in a special role. When his teammate Miro Müheim collided very hard with Rasmus Kristensen, the young defender immediately realized that the situation with Kristensen was very serious.
He immediately intervened and put his hand in his opponent’s mouth to prevent him from swallowing his tongue and thus choking. Vuskovic has already been awarded the Fairplay Prize of the Month for his action.
