Stina Nilsson got a nasty surprise in the middle of the Christmas celebration.
The skiing star could not believe his eyes.
“The shock hasn’t worn off yet”, she writes on Instagram.

It was on the very day before the day that Stina Nilsson made the sad discovery. In the middle of the Christmas celebration, she realized that a Swedish classic had changed.
On Instagram, she has shared a picture from when she realized that the Paradise Box has shrunk.
“The shock of discovering that the Paradise box contains four less pralines this year”, she writes at the same time as a least surprised person is seen standing and staring into the box.

Then she shares a picture where she has circled the places where in previous years there have been four pieces of chocolate – but which this year is just space.
“The shock has not subsided”, writes Nilsson.
The answer from the manufacturer
Last fall, Marabou presented its changes to the classic boxes Aladdin and Paradis. Then the chocolate giant told us that two new pralines are being introduced. It’s about dream crisps and vanilla fudge. Thus, the strawberry crisp and orange cinnamon pralines were added to the box.
The big news, however, was that the box would shrink from 500 grams to 410 grams, which also meant that autumn nougat and rum raisin also disappeared.
The explanation is simply to do with costs.
– We see that cocoa prices are volatile and move up and sometimes down, but that they are still at historically high levels, said Julia Lindberg, CEO of Mondelez in Sweden to All about food.
This year’s changes in Aladdin’s box
• The new flavors are dream crisp and vanilla fudge.
• The flavors that are discontinued are strawberry crisp and orange cinnamon. Two more flavors, classic autumn nougat and rum raisin, disappear as a result of the size adjustment.
• The boxes become significantly smaller, the weight changes from 500 grams to 410 grams.
• Previously, the boxes contained 50 chocolates (25 per layer), but after the size adjustment will contain 42 chocolates (21 per layer).
