SLO Bettancourt: 12 Proof Points

With twelve podium finishes, SLO Bettancourt stood out last weekend, during its annual indoor competition, qualifying for the French championship, contested at the Jean-Jaurès complex. Other Haut-Marne archers also made it onto the podiums.

Among the young people, the Bettancourtois club, chaired by Monica Vallelian, demonstrated its potential. In U11, the podium is 100% Bettancourtois with Lucas Chatelot winning ahead of Liam Broutin and Aodren Fillon.

In U13, Nathan Mangin (SLO Bettancourt) won ahead of Eclaronnais Tristan Bilquey. In U15, Chloé Marcher (SLO Bettancourt) finished in first place among the women, while her comrades Léane Broutin and Anna Toquereau finished fifth and sixth respectively. Among the men, Esteban Myaux (SLO Bettancourt) took second place and his friend Galaad Fillon fourth.

In U18, Elsa Maquet-Veltin (SLO Bettancourt) took fourth place. Among the men, Nathan Bouveret won the title ahead of his comrade Mouhammad Bettahar. Alois Boulanger (La Flèche bragarde) completes the podium. In U21, Maxime Block (SLO Bettancourt) took second place.

Eclaron, Chaumont and La Flèche bragarde medalists

On the adult side, Giulia Vallelian (SLO Bettancourt) took a good first place in seniors “1” recurve. Eclaronnaise Laureline Jochum ranks fifth. Among the men, Baptiste Launois (SLO Bettancourt) won and his friend Tom Déton took third place. In seniors “2”, Peggy Stolf (Eclaron) ranked 2e. Among the men, there is no Haut-Marne podium. Maxime Broutin (SLO Bettancourt), Sylvain Houet (La Flèche bragarde), Teddy Aubertot (Chaumont), Christophe Marmeuse (Chaumont) and Laurent Bouquet (La Flèche bragarde) finished 4th respectively.e5e6e8e et 11e.

In senior “3” ladies, Claudine Ménissier (Eclaron), the only one entered in her category, achieved a score of 507 points. In the men’s category, Chaumontais Dominique Bodson failed to reach the podium. In the senior “1” compound bow category, Samuel Gremont (La Flèche bragarde) ranks fifth. In senior “2” compound bow, Christophe Keller (Eclaron) took third place on the podium.

In senior “3” compound archery, Jacky Soudant (Eclaron) placed second. Among the women, Bourbonnaise Nessica Jankovic-Parent was the only one in the running.

Finally in adult barebow, Sophie Gazagnes (Chaumont) took second place among women. Among the men, Claude Dobbelaere (Chaumont) won ahead of Denis Yochum (La Flèche bragarde). The Bragard Loic Lavallois (La Flèche bragarde) finished in fourth place.
