Siret Luik: New Head of Development & Center Excellence

World Archery has appointed Siret Luik as Head of Development and Training, as well as management of the World Archery Excellence Centre, to strengthen its growth initiatives.

Luik takes over some of the responsibilities carried out by Olympic champion Sébastien Flute, who recently left his role as head of operations at the Center. She will lead coaching accreditation, educational programs and development support for member federations.

A former Estonian international, Luik previously served as Deputy Secretary General of World Archery and most recently coached Reena Parnat at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

I am delighted to return to World Archery in a role that fully aligns with my passion for the development of archery,” she said.

“Supporting our member federations by developing educational pathways, sharing our knowledge and facilitating access to archery on a global level is both an honor and a motivating challenge.”

Luik takes office immediately.

“We are very pleased to have Siret back in a vital role for our development plans, and I am delighted to have a key member of the team who will contribute to the growth of our sport,” said World Archery Executive Director, Juan Carlos Holgado.

“His extensive experience and deep understanding of archery will be valuable assets in creating new educational programs and supporting our members globally, using the World Archery Excellence Center as a strategic driver.”

“By occupying positions within World Archery and the Centre, she will be able to optimize and centralize educational development with national and continental federations.”

The World Archery Excellence Centre is a development hub and elite training center located in the Olympic capital, Lausanne (Switzerland). Opened in 2016, it coordinates global educational initiatives, hosts high-level training and conducts various outreach programs.
