1:30 p.m. -48kg: Towards a new record?
Fourteen minutes and twenty-eight seconds of golden score. Possible that Mélanie Clément (JC Marnaval 52) and Coralie Gilly (JC Maisons-Alfort) have established a new record for the longest fight of the French championships. It was ultimately the Marnavalaise who won over uchi-mata.

1:25 p.m. -57kg: Mokdar/De Carvalho, first semi-final
Faiza Mokdar still doesn’t hang out on the tatami. A kumikata in unilateral guard, a movement in a circle then a perfect eri-seoi-nage and there is Maelenn Cotard (JC Maisons-Alfort) on the back. The Parisian is in the half and she hasn’t tried very hard. Facing her, it will be Alya De Carvalho (As Chelles Judo) who places a sode-tsuri-komi-goshi on the golden score to Lola Berthet.

1:00 p.m. -81kg: Aregba delights
His tani-otoshi on Colin Chausseaume (ESBM Judo), one minute after the start of the golden score, was breathtaking. Arnaud Aregba (US Orléans Loiret JJJ) is in the semi-final. The Orléanais takes his time but traces his path in a very beautiful way. Next round against Sacha Gigli (OJ Nice) who tackles Nidhal Belgacem (UJ Brive CL) in a melee.

12:50 p.m. -66kg: Ray to his advantage
Moved up to -66kg, for his first competition in this weight category, Kelvin Ray, trained at AJ Loire by Patrice Palhec – he therefore plays at home – has already achieved a big blow by beating Driss Masson-Jbilou (OJ Nice) on a perfect kata-guruma.
In -60kg, Maxime Merlin (AJA Paris XX) is the first qualified for the semi-finals. He beats his friend Yahn Motoly Bongambé on Christophe Gagliano’s favorite reversal, but with the fashionable variation on the circuit, namely wrapping his wrist around the opponent’s belt.
In the last four he will meet Mohamed Benlahmer (JCB Arras), winner of Raphaël Viaud (AJ Morbihan) on an o-uchi-gari in the right tempo.

12:25 p.m. Junior men in form
The morote-seoi-nage of Peter Jean (JC Chilly-Mazarin Morangis) on Bryan Mbianda (JCO 59 Roubaix) on the gong, in -73kg, was magnificent. The superiority of Alexis Renard (PSG Judo), in -66kg, over Maxim Moundanga (Arts martial Saint-Gratien) was obvious. Jean and Renard, junior continental medalists in Bratislava at the beginning of September, are so far on point, and in style.
Defeat on the other hand for Kylian Noël (Stade Bordelais Judo), surprised seven seconds from the end by the very nice tani-otoshi of Evan Leclerc (Asnières martial arts).
Defeat on the other hand for Clarisse Carillon (SGS Judo) in -57kg, beaten on the special of Lola Berthet (Stade Bordelais Judo), a perfectly placed morote-seoi-nage.

12:00 p.m. Mokdar expeditious, Espadinha sluggish
A seoi-nage followed on the ground in immobilization and here is Faiza Mokdar (PSG Judo), double reigning French champion -57kg who wins in less than a minute against Héloïse Grimont (OJ Nice).
On mat n°2, Laura Espadinha (SO2J Saint-Ouen), double bronze medalist (2022 and 2023) in -48kg, won with forceps against Padémie Katendi Nzuzi (FLAM 91) via penalties. A very long fight but we won’t know how long it lasted, due to a display problem on the screen.

11:30 a.m. -60kg: Disillusionment for Dijol
Junior European medalist and fifth in the Worlds, Zacharie Dijol (Sucy Judo) will not be French champion. Leading by a yuko against Romain Barou (76 Judo), this ne-waza specialist suffered an uchi-mata to the right counted waza-ari seven seconds from the end.

11:05 a.m. -52kg: The beautiful application of Bridge
Favorite in the -52kg category, Campinois Blandine Pont is very dominant against Lalou Lebrun (JCFL-Gradignan). An o-soto-otoshi on the right, an o-goshi on the left and here is the old -48kg already in the right tempo.

11h0 -60kg : A quarter of the end 100% AJA Paris XX
The eri-seoi-nage on the fly by Maxime Merlin, bronze medalist last year in Chalon-sur-Saône, was perfect. For his part, Yahn Motoly Bongambé, first year senior, defeated Timothé Guichen (ACBB Judo) with an o-uchi-gari while the two fighters were getting up.
As a result, the quarter-final will pit the two protégés of Alexandre Borderieux against each other. Objective ? A place in the semi-final.

10:50 a.m. -52kg: Marks, easy
Double French junior -52kg champion (2024 and 2025), and again junior 2026, Alicia Marques (JC Orthézien), completely suffocates Meghan Vo (JC Pontault-Combault) before placing a victorious uchi-mata on the right. Next meeting for Marques? Astride Gneto, seeded n°1 in the category.

10:20 a.m. -57kg: Carillon wins the junior duel
Very interesting first fight between Emma Melis (Montpellier Judo Olympic), 2025 junior European vice-champion, and Clarisse Carillon (Sainte-Geneviève Sports Judo), selected for the junior European and world championships this year. Melis almost scored from the start on a seoi-otoshi on the left and tried, as best he could, to manage the power of Génovéfaine’s arm by coming into unilateral guard. Two penalties against her despite everything but the victory remained playable. Until a sequence where nothing happened. The refereeing trio then decided to penalize the two fighters. Hansokumake against Melis, while Carillon would have used her power without showing much initiative.
On mat n°2, in -66kg, William Cysique (Sucy Judo) rewarded the public, now very numerous in the stands, with a sublime uchi-mata against the Niortais Anatole Guillard. Pure and magnificent judo.
Another superb judo move, the de-ashi-barai of Désiré Zoba Casi (Stade Bordelais Judo), 2025 French junior vice-champion in -81kg but true -73kg, on mat n°4, against Hans-Jorris Ahibo (AM Asnières).

10:15 a.m. -73kg: Impeccable jeans, powerful Otmane
His magnificent morote-seoi-nage against Adrien Lelièvre, new technical director of the Dojo Nantais, allows Peter Jean (JC Chilly-Mazarin Morangis), European junior medalist at the beginning of September to start his Saturday perfectly. In -81kg, the very powerful hold of the bear of Luca Otmane (OJ Nice) against Alexandre Bordat (Budokan Deuil) ideally launches the reigning French champion in -81kg.

09:40. It works for Boulemtafes, it’s stuck for Axus
Entry defeat for Benjamin Axus (AJA Paris XX) in his new -81kg category. A defeat on penalties against the judoka from Montpellier Judo Olympic, Hugo David. Three shidos, the last of which falls on excessive defense from the Parisian. On mat No. 4, Dayyan Boulemtafes (PSG Judo), 2025 French junior champion and silver medalist at the Peruvian Grand Prix in October, is a little scared but passes against Baptiste Lallau. Led with a waza-ari on a ko-uchi-gake, the Parisian places a koshi-guruma for ippon.

09:30. New Aquitaine launches
In -73kg, Oihan Sentenac (JC Orthézien), 2025 French junior vice-champion, offers a tough fight to Kassim Brosseau, also junior this year, and national bronze medalist. A slow-moving morote-seoi-nage on the left, however, gave decisive value to the Orthézien, medalist in several Label Excellence senior tournaments (Nantes, Noisy-le-Grand and Lormont) this season. On mat no. 3, Briviste Nidhal Belgacem placed a hip movement to the left which put Alexandre Tama (Sucy Judo) on the edge.
Two neo-Aquitaine fighters continuing their day.

9:15 a.m. -73kg: the Cavallera fan club gives voice
His fan club will have given voice throughout his long fight. Ludovic Cavallera, licensed at UDJ 74, will have thrilled the members of his club who came in large numbers to support him. Fighting at home or almost, Cavallera held a six-minute golden score against Titouan Le Mentec from Dojo Nantais. A ko-uchi puts an end to his hopes.

09:05. -81kg: Aregba delivers
Vice-champion of France 2024, recent winner of the Croatian Grand Prix, Arnaud Aregba from Orléan opened hostilities on mat 3. An uchi-mata mid-fight followed by an action on the ground out of the leg and here is Aregba who calmly enters his competition.

9 a.m. Start of the 2025 edition!
The French senior championships are therefore launched! Four competition surfaces, a magnificent hall and a mess of uncertainties as to which judokas will win the national title at the end of the day.
Absences, with Enzo Jean (US Orléans Loiret JJJ), recent winner of the Croatian Grand Prix in -60kg.
