Savenès Badminton: Evening Match Recap

The MJC badminton club and the youth reception brilliantly organized their very first Lumigame tournament: a sports evening mixing badminton and fluorescent lighting atmosphere placed under the sign of conviviality.

The main objectives of this event were to encourage intergenerational meetings and the practice of sport in a fun way. Mission accomplished: 50% of the players were teenagers, who came to share the field with participants of all ages in a warm atmosphere.

In total, nearly sixty people took part in this original event, playing badminton in the dark for almost three hours, thanks to the lighting equipment made available by Ufolep82 (partner of the MJC), essential to the smooth running of the tournament. The energy and good humor were palpable throughout the evening. A gourmet break allowed everyone to regain their strength and exchange around a varied buffet brought by the participants. The organizers would like to thank everyone who contributed to the set-up, smooth running and tidying up of this evening. Thanks to their investment, this first Lumigame will remain a strong moment of sharing, sport and conviviality, and already promises future editions that are just as bright.
