Rohtak. Westley Do Rosario of Rohtak won the title of men’s and Prithoki Chakraborty of women’s singles category in the 59th Hero Haryana State and Inter District Table Tennis Championship held at Chaudhary Devi Lal Educational Institute, Yamunanagar. Nikunj Atri of Rohtak, under 19 years of age, won silver and bronze medal in men’s category.
In the final match, Westley defeated Siddhant Kataria of Gurugram 4-1 and Prithoki defeated Sneha Bhowmik of Kurukshetra 4-1. Haryana Table Tennis Association Treasurer Vikas Saini congratulated the winning players. He inspired me to perform better in future also. He told that in the award distribution ceremony, the association has distributed prize money of about Rs 10 lakh in various events.
