Real Unión knew how to take advantage of their great moment of play and success in the areas to add three more points and remain alone … at the top of the rankings. Deportivo Aragón, a subsidiary of Real Zaragoza, tried to discuss control, but the distance between both teams is great, especially where it matters most, in the areas.

In the first half hour, before the Zaragozaans managed to settle into the game, Real Unión was a torrent. He found holes in the Zaragoza system, both between the lines and behind the defenders. The Txuribeltz offensive players combined with ease and looked for depth again and again with a high success rate.
The Iundarras scored up to three fairly clear chances before finding the goal in the 14th minute. The last of those missed chances came from a long drive by Luca Sangalli after recovering a ball in his own half. He opened to the right and Unai García’s precise center found Laken Torres in the shot. Only a superb save by Obón prevented the goal. The ball went to the corner and when Sangalli himself, who had a spectacular match, played it from the quarter circle, he found De la Mata’s head and the ball ended up in the net.
Irunterra’s superiority became less evident as the first half went by, although in the areas it was the locals who generated the most danger. However, it was the skilled reserve team that found the goal. Lander couldn’t block a shot from the front and the dead ball was sent in by Linares.
With a tie came the break and with a tie the first stages of the restart passed. Fifteen minutes of effective play that could have made someone nervous, but the game had such a txuribeltz tone that not even that happened.
It was very likely that sooner or later what happened in minute 53 would end up happening. Martín Arruti, who is still on the rise, accelerated a play in transition in the center of the field. Unai García faced from the top of the area and taking advantage of the doubt that Louakima generated by doubling him on the wing, he sent a cross towards the far post where Laken Torres, with a header, did not forgive.
This time the Irundarras were not going to give Zaragoza B the chance to revive. The most dangerous thing they allowed was a direct free kick taken by Iker García to which Lander responded with a worthy save. He took revenge for what happened in the rival goal with a second intervention, even more meritorious, in the rebound of that same play.
Aragón wanted to insist in search of a tie, but was unable to generate anything more for a Real Unión that continued to press. Thus it was 3-1, with Soroeta winning, by pure fight, a ball between the rival area and the touchline. His cross was finished off by Telle from point-blank range and although Obón had an impossible hand, the winger himself found the goal on the rebound with a bicycle kick. And Real Unión continued and continued, running, pressing, charging the area. On the umpteenth ball into the danger zone, Iradi found himself with time to control and shoot out of Obón’s reach and in the last play of the game there was still strength to run a counterattack and for left back Álvaro Mateo to score the fifth.
