2025 SEA Games: Leo/Bagas Fall to Malaysia in Semifinals

The semi-finals of the 2025 SEA Games saw the moment when the Indonesian men’s doubles, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, were defeated by the Malaysian number one pair, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik.

JUARA.NET – Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana were defeated by Malaysia’s best men’s doubles, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik in the semifinals of the 2025 SEA Games.

This match was held on Saturday (13-12/2025) at Thamasat Rangsit Gymnasium, Thailand.

Chia/Soh immediately recorded a wide lead.

They stretched the distance by eight points in the first game interval, 11-3.

Both pairs presented quite a long rally at 9-17.

Leo/Bagas tried hard to find gaps in the opponent’s solid defense.

Unfortunately, they even committed their own mistakes that benefited the enemy, 9-18.

The wide gap in points was slightly reduced by the Indonesian pair who got points, 10-18.

However, Chia/Soh again benefited from Leo/Bagas’ own mistakes, 10-19.
