Peruvian Badminton: Election Irregularities Denounced

A complaint has been filed for irregularities in the recent elections of the Peruvian Badminton Federation due to an alleged change of positions in the new Board of Directors.

Luis Sánchez presented the complaint to the Superior Council of Sports Justice and Sports Honors of the IPD in which he points out against list No. 2 led by Luis Argüelles as president.

The complaint is due to the fact that there was a change in the positions, since Juan Alberto Munar presented himself as secretary and Óscar Javier Quiroz as treasurer, but both positions appeared reversed in the final minutes.

The authorities have been asked to annul the administrative acts carried out under the irregular structure in case the responsibility of the board of directors is found.

For now, the Higher Council of Sports Justice and Sports Honors of the IPD has opened an investigation that not only covers list No. 2, but also the electoral committee and the Working Group.
