Olmo di Robbio Archers Win Gorgonzola Competition

The Archers of Olmo di Robbio protagonists in the fifteenth Gorgonzola Città di Cameri trophy, an inter-regional competition organized by the Cameri Archers. The Lomellina team achieved two team victories, a silver and a bronze in the individual competitions. Olmo di Robbio won the team classification in the senior women’s Olympic competition, placing Raffaella Bellan on the second step of the podium in the individual competition and Giorgia Magari on third, while Marta Panizza placed fourth. The second victory came in the senior men’s bare bow, where, in addition to dominating the team classification, the Lomellino team took sixth place with Antonio Torchia, seventh with Matteo Garavaglia and eleventh with Roberto Chiodo. In the Olympic men’s masters competition, Matteo Panizza finished twenty-fifth, again for Olmo di Robbio. The Minerva Pavia Archers shone in the men’s Olympic masters competition, winning the team classification while in the individual competition Andrea Barp finished fourth, Sandro Ranghetti fifth, Luigi Moretta sixth and Giovanni Frattini ninth. For the Vigevano archers in the junior Olympic men’s arch Mattia Petullo wins the bronze medal, while Carlo Cristiani finishes twenty-ninth in the master Olympic arch and Lorenzo Molinelli places twelfth in the master naked arch. The Ardivestra Archers climb to the third step of the podium in the team ranking of the men’s compound master, where in the individual they placed ninth Valerio Colli, tenth Andrea Scabini and fourteenth Michelangelo Iovine, while in the senior compound Gabriele Lazzati sixth.
